Mr. Patrik Lindfors has extensive experience as counsel in domestic and international arbitration proceedings and commercial and white-collar litigation. This experience includes the Finnish, Swedish and English Arbitration Acts, and the arbitration rules of such institutions as the ICC, SCC, LCIA, ICSID, IATA and the Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce. Patrik Lindfors serves on regular basis as an arbitrator in both domestic and international arbitrations.

Mr. Tapio Rantala advises clients in all aspects of commercial litigation and arbitration. Before joining Lindfors & Co in 2016, Tapio worked several years inhouse, heading the corporate legal affairs team of a leading banking and insurance group in Finland. Therefore, Tapio also advises clients, inter alia, on corporate law and corporate governance, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, IT law, intellectual property rights, and financial regulation. In addition, Tapio is one of the few experts in cooperatives law (osuuskuntaoikeus in Finnish) in Finland.

Tapio’s practice also includes sports law, and he regularly advises sports associations and federations, sports clubs as well as athletes in their various legal matters. Tapio is a member of the Finnish Sports Arbitration Board, a member of the Disciplinary Board of the Finnish Figure Skating Association and a former Editor in Chief of the Finnish Sports Law Journal.

Tapio also serves as an arbitrator.

Ms. Henrica Siiskonen specializes in commercial litigation and arbitration and general commercial law.

Henrica advises clients in business disputes relating to e.g. contract law, construction and engineering, distributorship and service contracts. Due to her experience as in-house counsel she also advises clients in a broad spectrum of business law and compliance.

Henrica joined Lindfors & Co originally in 2011. After five years of practice in commercial litigation and arbitration she joined a publicly listed steel company as in-house counsel where she worked for four years. In 2020, Henrica rejoined Lindfors & Co to help clients in all sectors of business.

Henrica holds a Master’s degree from the University of Helsinki from 2011.

Mr. Tony Chokairy advises our clients in commercial arbitration and litigation and other aspects of dispute resolution. Before obtaining his law degree, Tony gained experience as a trainee at several major Finnish law firms, focusing primarily on dispute resolution but also working on intellectual property and technology-related matters. 

During his studies, Tony represented the University of Lapland in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the largest moot court competition in the sphere of international commercial arbitration. Thereafter, Tony has coached the Vis Moot teams of the University of Lapland.

Tony holds a Master’s degree from the University of Lapland from 2024.

Ms. Riikka Oksa advises our clients in commercial litigation and arbitration and other aspects of commercial law. Riikka holds a Master’s degree from the University of Lapland from 2024.
